VisualEditor is a feature that was implemented to allow users edit an article quickly, easily, and more efficiently. The interface will automatically updates and reflect how the article will look when published. This is currently the most common editor on FANDOM and the one that is set by default when you edit.

What's the difference between classic editor and visual editor?

Unlike the classic editor (also known as the Rich Text Editor (RTE) or Source Editor) does not constantly reload the entire page in your browser and does not give you a visual of what the article will look like when it is published. The classic editor is simply a page where you can implement wikitext.

How does the visual editor work with portability?

The visual editor only shows what an article would look like if it was published on a desktop screen. Although this is a very useful feature, when it comes to content portability, it is not.
