What would you like help with (e.g. styling or making an infobox or page portable)? I need help with the 'Chronology' sub section, as I want them to look somewhat similar to the Wikipedia one. I was able to make it work so the names of the next albums can appear, but, I wasn't able to include the year and also the styling.

In short, how can I make an input for the year of the previous, next, and current album? How can I stylize the infobox so these information above can be centered?

Any other information (e.g. links, screenshots, or snippets): [1] Wikipedia template for reference.

In order to ensure you can implement and maintain a Mentoring solution, how would you classify your technical (in CSS, Templates, and Infoboxes) skill level (or those of whomever will be maintaining your Templates)? CSS, not so good, basic Template, advanced Infobox, between basic and advanced, I know the drill but when stylizing, it is a hustle.

Thank you!

Hey! I'm neither a mentor nor a Vanguard, but if you look at an album page on Wikipedia (say, this one), you will see that the year is manually inserted beneath the album title with a <br /> tag. So, using your infobox, it would look something like this:

|previous=Homework<br />(1997)
|current=Discovery<br />(2001)
|next=Alive 1997<br />(2001)

If you really wanted to have a field devoted to the year, you could add some more fields to your infobox code, like this:

<group layout="horizontal">
    <data source="previous-year"></data>
    <data source="current-year"></data>
    <data source="next-year"></data>

You would then add the fields to the infobox.

|next=Alive 1997

(See live example here and example template here.)

To answer your second question concerning how to center this text, just add this code to your wiki's MediaWiki:Wikia.css or MediaWiki:Common.css files:

.pi-europa .pi-horizontal-group .pi-data-value {

Hope this helps! :) Count of Howard (talk) 20:08, November 19, 2016 (UTC)

Thank you very much! this helped a lot!
Quick questions, what is the different if I apply the centered code in either of the files?

You mean MediaWiki:Wikia.css vs MediaWiki:Common.css? Wikia.css applies styles to the default Oasis/Wikia skin, whereas Common.css applies styles to both the Oasis/Wikia skin and the Monobook skin. Count of Howard (talk) 18:23, November 21, 2016 (UTC)
